Originally The AD-vertiser, this shopping guide has been welcomed into the homes of Emmett and Charlevoix Counties for more than 50 years. Created by the Bodette family as an “advertising alternative” for the local shoppers, the AD-vertiser was delivered through the US Postal system, until acquired by Morning Star Publishing. APS a subsidiary of Morning Star Publishing delivers the Petoskey Charlevoix Star, through snow, sleet and postal holidays 53 times a year. We also distribute a Regional Thanksgiving Day Edition, of the Petoskey Charlevoix Star, delivering advertising for the Biggest shopping day of the year. Always keeping in mind, the original purpose of the shopping guide - an advertising alternative for our local shoppers.
